At Arriva, we not only aspire to comply with what is expected of us, but we also want to go further. Whether by supporting local social projects, activating training programs for our teams or integrating cutting-edge technologies throughout our operations. Arrivas goal is to have a positive impact on society and the communities we serve.
The new Arriva headquarters, which occupies a plot of 8,500 m2, in Alcorcón, is unique in the sector because it is designed according to the criteria of the Passivhaus Institute, thus making the Community of Madrid the first region to have a passenger transport company with a building with almost zero energy consumption that follows the criteria of this prestigious institution.
Throughout the year we carry out different actions to promote local projects and collaborate with social organizations to generate development, education, health and well-being opportunities for people. Proof of this is the sponsorship of the Alcorcón Sports Groups Womens Futsal team. We wanted to maintain our commitment to the team for the great work they do offering inclusive and protective environments for local children and youth and promoting healthy habits. Arriva is proud of the team using our name.
At Arriva we promote a culture where people feel comfortable, that they are part of a large family, that they are respected and in which their differences are treated as enriching elements of the work environment.
We actively seek talent with different areas of expertise, people with different attributes and diverse contributions. We want our business to reflect the wide range of profiles in our teams, representative of the communities in which we operate, and for which we strive to better understand and serve them.
